Who are we?

We are a team of 100+ motivated professionals with different personalities and different career paths who are working in cross-functional teams with the goal of developing innovative, high performance electrical solutions for the e-bike market.
Porsche eBike Performance was founded to drive the transformation of mobility with smart, innovative electrical solutions. We house a unique pool of expertise with e-bike drive system specialist FAZUA, Croatian software and connectivity innovator Greyp and, of course, all the knowledge, research and experience from the Porsche family.

Who are we looking for?

For our System Testing Team we are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software System Tester to help us in ensuring the quality of our embedded products (Drive Unit, Battery, VCU and Remote) connected to an embedded (sub)system.

Responsibilities

• Review of the available requirement specification
• Writing of the test specification
• Implementation, execution and evaluation of automatic tests
• Execution and evaluation of manual tests
• Initial analysis of the potential source of failures
• Exploratory testing
• Communication with all interested parties to plan and coordinate the execution of the embedded (sub)system integration tests and report the results to all interested parties
• Contribution to the risk assessment and preventive actions
• Help to improve our quality assurance related processes

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an embedded software testing or similar role focused on embedded software quality
• Experience in test automation using Python and programmable test tools
• Strong knowledge of testing techniques and methodologies
• Good communication skills in English
• Desire and willingness to share one's knowledge, expertise and collaborate with coworkers with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise
• Systematic and meticulous person, who embraces all aspects of software quality, going way beyond just the functional requirement acceptance

Bonus points

• Familiarity with CAN, BLE, MQTT communication and related protocols
• ISTQB Foundation Level certificate
• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certificates
