Who are we?

We are a team of 100+ motivated professionals with different personalities and different career paths who are working in cross-functional teams with the goal of developing innovative, high performance electrical solutions for the e-bike market.
Porsche eBike Performance was founded to drive the transformation of mobility with smart, innovative electrical solutions. We house a unique pool of expertise with e-bike drive system specialist FAZUA, Croatian software and connectivity innovator Greyp and, of course, all the knowledge, research, and experience from the Porsche family.

Who are we looking for?

For our System Integration department, we are looking for a System Integration Embedded Hardware engineer with at least ten years of experience in Embedded Hardware system development and management. 
Our product-based R&D Organization consists of three teams developing physical products for the Bicycle Industry: Drive Units, Batteries and Vehicle Control Units. 
This advertised position's main purpose is high-level overview and the engagement of common activities for all Embedded Hardware development within the organization. 

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Embedded Hardware Product Requirements creation 
• Writing Embedded Hardware System Technical requirements
• Reviewing Product Requirements and Device Technical Requirements
• Conduct in-depth feasibility studies and provide technical guidance for product development.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Embedded Hardware teams
• Review of Embedded Hardware Design and Testing documentation
• Collaboration with Product Management, Research and Development, Testing and Certification, Production and Quality Management departments
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, specially Embedded Software, Embedded Hardware and Mechanical engineers, ensuring seamless integration of embedded systems and reliable device operation
• Schematic and Printed Circuit Board reviews focused on System Integration
• Wiring Harness and Connector architecture definition for all product portfolios
• Technical Management of Semiconductor Component, Connectors and Wiring Harness Request For Information (RFI) process for all product portfolios
• Writing Embedded Hardware development documentation
• Supporting Embedded Hardware teams with equipment selection
• Defining and documenting Embedded Hardware procedures and best practices

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or similar
• Minimum ten years of experience in development of Embedded systems
• Experience with Embedded Hardware related standards and certification for European Union and United States of America regions
• Experience with conduction and radiation EMC standards and certification for European Union and United States of America regions
• Excellent communication skills with people from various backgrounds
• Experience with project management 
• Creative and critical thinking

Bonus points

• Extensive collaboration experience with PCB and EMS manufacturers
• Development and production of multilayer PCB’s
• Experience with Electronics Design (DFM, DFT, DFA)
• Developing and analyzing RF circuits and antennas
• Detailed experience with electronic device certification
• Team Lead or higher management position experience
