Porsche eBike Performance was founded to drive the transformation of mobility with smart, innovative electrical solutions. We house a unique pool of expertise with e-bike drive system specialist FAZUA, Croatian software and connectivity innovator Greyp and, of course, all the knowledge, research and experience from the Porsche family.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development of highly automated production equipment and have extensive experience in automated manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on optimizing production, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Develop, analyze and optimize production equipment for our products (e – bike system), ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the process
Reporting and tracking non-conformances and deviations from the standard build process, and driving issues to closure
Investigating, establishing and implementing requirements for equipment, tooling, and methods of production
Working closely with production, development, quality, logistics and the engineering department on manufacturing issues and improvement areas
Communication with equipment suppliers and performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
Conduct analysis and troubleshooting of equipment-related issues, implementing corrective actions to achieve continuous improvement
Create and maintain documentation related to equipment/tooling specifications, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols
Supporting training of department members on new processes and tools as implemented for efficiency improvements and lessons learned to be carried over to future projects
Other assignments delegated by the superior

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
Experience in automotive industry (preferable)
Experience in battery assembly (preferable)
Experience in implementing automated production equipment for high volume projects
Experience with Siemens PLC architecture
Experience in CAD software
Very good knowledge in MS Office
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Good written and verbal communication skills in German (advantage)
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Great teamwork skills and highly developed communication skills
Developed sense of responsibility
Strong organization skills and systematic approach to work
Strong analysis, problem-solving, process and troubleshooting skills
Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple project
