Field Quality Engineer (m/f)

Who are we?

Porsche eBike Performance was founded to drive the transformation of mobility with smart, innovative electrical solutions. We house a unique pool of expertise with e-bike drive system specialist FAZUA, Croatian software and connectivity innovator Greyp and, of course, all the knowledge, research and experience from the Porsche family.
Responsibilities
  • Serving as the central point of contact for coordinating the problem-solving program at the site and driving the implementation of Quality Core Tools
  • Independently leading problem-solving projects, providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams, and reporting regularly to project sponsors
  • Supporting internal functions in applying statistical methods and interpreting analyses (e.g., Design of Experiments (DoE), correlation and reliability analyses, SPC, etc.)
  • Developing internal training concepts for quality methods and coordinating external training and statistical software providers
  • Documenting all quality-related processes and results
  • Collaborating with various departments to define and achieve quality objectives
  • Preparing regular reports on problem-solving activities at the site
  • Maintaining close communication with field support and service teams to ensure quick response to customer needs
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Successfully completed university degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in quality or supplier management
  • Extensive hands-on experience in technical problem-solving using methods such as Six Sigma, Shainin, or 8D
  • Proficiency in QM Core Tools such as 8D, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and process capability analyses
  • Proven track record of leading multiple problem-solving projects in operations, supplier, or development environments
  • Ability to establish and coordinate a site-wide problem-solving program
  • Ideally holding a Six Sigma Black Belt or Shainin Journeyman certification
  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel
  • Professional demeanor, strong commitment, and flexibility
  • Strong communication skills combined with analytical and process-oriented thinking, assertiveness, and effective conflict-management abilities
