Who are we?

We are a team of 100+ motivated professionals with different personalities and different career paths who are working in cross-functional teams with the goal of developing innovative, high performance electrical solutions for the e-bike market.
Porsche eBike Performance was founded to drive the transformation of mobility with smart, innovative electrical solutions. We house a unique pool of expertise with e-bike drive system specialist FAZUA, Croatian software and connectivity innovator Greyp and, of course, all the knowledge, research and experience from the Porsche family.

Who are we looking for?

For the Battery Team, we are looking for an Embedded Software Student interested in C/C++ microcontrollers and eager to learn about batteries and power electronics. You will work with experienced engineers on real products and gain hands-on experience developing embedded systems for the eBike industry.

Responsibilities

Assisting in development of BMS firmware and power electronics
Supporting component selection and collaboration with hardware engineers on PCB development
Participating in code reviews and learning best practices
Testing and validating firmware functionality and performance
Debugging firmware on target microcontrollers with mentor guidance
Helping document functional requirements
Learning about functional safety principles (IEC 61508 / ISO 26262)

Requirements & Qualifications

Student of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT or a similar field (based in Zagreb) 
Basic knowledge of C and/or C++
Interest in embedded systems, microcontrollers, and power electronics
Familiarity with version control (Git)
Motivation to learn RTOS concepts (FreeRTOS/SafeRTOS)
Ability to read basic schematics is a plus
Willingness to learn communication protocols (CAN-FD, I2C, SPI, UART)
