Who are we?
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist - a proactive and detail-oriented professional who will drive indirect procurement activities, build strong supplier relationships, and contribute to cost optimization and efficient cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the procurement of series-production materials and components
- Conducting price and contract negotiations with domestic and international suppliers
- Escalation management in the event of bottlenecks
- Selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers
- Ensuring timely and cost-efficient supply to production
- Close collaboration with production planning
- Analysis of procurement markets and identification of cost-saving opportunities
- Close collaboration with the departments of production, logistics, quality, and development
- Maintaining master data and creating analyses and reports
- Ensuring adherence to purchasing guidelines and compliance requirements
- Optimizing existing procurement processes
Requirements & Qualifications
- Completed business and/or technical studies
- Long term professional experience in purchasing
- Experience with contract negotiations
- Knowledge of business administration and contract law
- Very good technical understanding and interest
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Good written and spoken English knowledge (German is a plus)
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
- Motivated team player
